Picking up the pieces

my weekend was a complete roller coaster. i wrote about it on my myspace blog and i may cut and paste it later to here, but i definitely don't feel like reiterating what happened over the weekend.

there is one thing that i am TRULY excited about that i did yesterday that's now going to become a really healthy and good thing for me, but i can't broadcast it yet. i will after the holidays are over.

other than that, not too much to say today. last year i became OBSESSED with sarah mclachlan's album - "wintersong" around the holidays. well....it's happening again. i absolutely adore her. have for so long and still do to this day. so i will leave you with the song that has been on continuous play for me in one form or another for several days.

Hang in there, boss . . .

Life is wierd . . . but cool, at the same time . . . the trick, I think, is to get comfortable with the rollercoaster . . . to have peace, balance, and serenity regardless of conditions . . .

You're doin' fine . . .

Everything's shakin' out just the way it's supposed to . . . just a bit beyond the ability of our rational minds to get around . . .

First off, sorry for your downer. I would say something clever like "things will get better because they always do," but I'm not exactly Sylvia Browne, am I?

Secondly, Sara's version of "River" is the best one I've ever heard. Even Robert Downey, Jr. did a good cover of it, but it's still not close.

Thirdly, thanks for the blogroll link! It's always nice to have a few more link friends in the world.

Yo Yo keep your chin up. Always walk tall after a thumpin, it shows you got dignity.

My wife tells me that people are in your life for a season, a reason or a lifetime. After all these years, I figured out you never know why until things are over.

Just like dem block heads say, hang tough...

I'know that things could be better.......Losing something, someone , is'nt always the best part of life .But ,out of you the endless sunrises .....out of you the very heartbeats of the earth....Let it come , whatever there is !!!and through the same door an ocean of peace !!

Richard Bach says " What the caterpillar calls 'the end of the world ',the Master calls it a 'Butterfly'.
So remember who you really are !!
